I Just Don't Get It
So school pretty much ended last week, but guess what, I am still getting up early in the mornig to go to not-school. We've turned in our books, we've cleaned out our lockers. I don't understand why it doesn't just end like 3 days ago, or at least tomorrow. But I still have five more not-real days of school. To do stupid worksheetsthat make no sense whatsoever. Boo School. Go Summer! WOO!

I go much further -- I think Not-School exists for more days than just the last few weeks. I think teachers have a multi-year supply of insignificant worksheets and crap they make kids do all through the school year. I think coloring is a much better solution to the Not-School days. It is relaxing and provokes deep thinking and creativity among other skills and characteristics.
